Welcome to KiteDemos!

My name is Kelly "Sky" Reed, the founder of KiteDemos, an avid flyer, former sport kite competitor, and kite designer and musician. My hope is that KiteDemos will be an excellent resource for people organizing and sponsoring kite-making workshops and professional kite-flying demonstrations for kids and adults. I hope to provide information on kite making, kite flying, and make available my services to anyone that would like my help as a professional within the kite industry.

I've been fortunate to have worked with so many great people within the kite industry like Sky Delight Kites, Guildworks, New Tech Sports, Quadrifoil, Kite Surfer and Active People.

I've also been fortunate to make many people smile through years of kite flying. I've been a part of the Texas kiting community and the International Kite Industry for well over 12 years now. I've traveled coast to coast and had opportunities to travel to Columbia, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, China, Japan and Malaysia, all for the the sake of promoting the sport and hobby of kite flying and cultural exchange. I've flown at Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotel, Las Vegas City Park, Kansas City Art Institute, 37th Ryder Cup 2008 and at many other prestigeous events.

KiteDemos is dedicated to helping businesses, schools and communities add excitement and "pizzazz" to events through the use of kites. I have helped hundreds of people and dozens of businesses establish long-term and short-term events all over the world and now I'd like to help you.
